The Bible
We believe the entire Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is without error and serves as the unfailing standard for truth, guiding all areas of life—both personal and public.
God
We believe in the one true God, who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator of all things, and humanity was made to enjoy Him and bring Him glory.
Sin and Salvation
Sin separates humanity from God. Yet, through the death, burial, and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ, God fully saves sinners who are unable to save themselves. This salvation comes by grace alone, through faith alone. When a person trusts in Jesus as Lord, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within them, empowering them to live according to God's Word.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer from the moment of conversion. We also affirm the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which imparts power for holy living and the exercise of spiritual gifts. The infilling of the Holy Spirit is not limited to a one-time experience but is available repeatedly throughout the believer’s life.
The Role of the Church
We believe that Jesus Christ holds all authority in heaven and on earth. He has commanded His Church to make disciples of all nations, teaching them to love, honor, and obey God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Restoration
We believe that Satan is a defeated enemy and that Jesus Christ will return in glory. The earth and all it contains belong to the Lord, and every area affected by sin is in need of transformation according to God's purposes revealed in His Word. This includes individuals, families, the Church, and society as a whole.
Christian Living
We proclaim the Lordship of Christ in every sphere of life. This is expressed through the faithful preaching of His Word, a life of prayer, and a lifestyle that reflects His truth in action.
Doctrinal foundations
We hold to the core tenets of Christian Orthodoxy as articulated in the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed. We also affirm modern expressions of biblical faith found in the Lausanne Covenant and the Cape Town Commitment, which faithfully summarize essential Christian doctrine and mission in today’s world.
